ABOUT US
We're your friends and neighbors. Made up almost entirely of volunteers, the DBDA board members chair four committees: Organization, Design, Economic Vitality and Promotions. It is through these committees and our even larger group of superstar volunteers that the magic happens.
MISSION & VISION STATEMENT
The mission of the DBDA is to further advance the economic, aesthetic, and cultural environment of historic downtown Belmont.

Located 6 miles from Charlotte Douglas International Airport, downtown Belmont is weaving a history within three districts: The Chronicle District, Historic Downtown and the River District.

We are advancing the hub of a growing collection of independently owned businesses exemplifying an environment supportive of small business and entrepreneurial development.

These distinct districts connected by trolley, trail, sidewalks and city streets, offer a variety of experiences from outdoor recreational opportunities, to downtown living, dining and family-friendly entertainment.
