COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
Whether dancing in the street during one of our Friday Night Live concerts, exploring the twinkling wonder of Belmont transformed for Christmas Village, uniting as a community during COVID-19 relief efforts, or enjoying an activated downtown space, you'll find us behind the scenes.
Through our events and community engagement efforts, we aim to support and sustain Belmont's downtown districts as the central place for commerce and community.
Whether "Keeping The Lights On" during COVID-19, enacting and envisioning more ways for connection and a sense of community, hosting our Friday Night Live concert series or Christmas Village, we are always actively seeking ways to make our downtown districts more useful and engaging for residents and visitors alike.
This work cannot be accomplished alone. We thank our many volunteers, contributors, sponsors, and supportive City Staff and Elected Officials who join us in making so many of these events and efforts possible.

ABOUt OUR COMMUNITY EVENTS & ENGAGEMENT
The Downtown Belmont Development Association (DBDA), a non-profit 501(c)(3), supports its mission of keeping Belmont's three Districts (Historic Downtown, Chronicle and River) useful and central as the beating heart of the community by organizing, enacting and holding event related community activities that encourage residents and visitors to come together and explore and enjoy all that Belmont has to offer. Much of this work is planned and organized under the DBDA's Promotions Committee, while visioning for more permanent enhancements and public activation of Belmont's physical spaces are planned and organized under the DBDA's Design Committee.
